This research is looking to understand what matters most to people living with type 2 diabetes when looking at weight loss plans and diets.
As well as understanding how people choose weight loss plans, this research will also measure how this might vary between different groups of people, for example from different backgrounds or with different health priorities.

- Findings from this study will help to measure how many people are, and aren’t affected by symptoms of depression, and how this may be different for people living with different types of diabetes.
- Results from this study will be used to inform and shape future research to help develop new treatments or therapies.

NHS medicines helplines are services that people can contact if they have questions about their medicines after coming home from hospital.
This study hopes to increase patient safety by making recommendations about how to improve medicines helplines in the future.
