TrialNet: Natural history study of the development of type 1 diabetes.
This large-scale international research programme aims to understand more about the development of type 1 diabetes and why it occurs as well as identify ways to delay and/or prevent it.
TrialNet is currently screening relatives of people with type 1 diabetes.
Family members of people with type 1 diabetes aged 3-45 years (parents, children, brothers and sisters) are eligible to be screened. Cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren may also be eligible.
