The Pumping Marvellous Foundation is the UK’s patient-led, heart failure charity supporting patients, families and carers, and helping people manage their condition. Their aim is to inform, raise awareness, offer patient-to-patient support and patient-authored resources for a syndrome that affects around 900,000 people in the UK, putting great stress on the whole family.
As a young and dynamic charity, they rely on the generosity and kindness of supporters to help them to serve and unite a growing heart failure community, while working closely with specialist NHS teams.
“As the UK’s leading patient led heart failure charity, we are delighted to partner with the National Institute for Health Research in Greater Manchester as part of the NIHR’s Help BEAT heart disease campaign, and together continue to help heart failure patients to live their lives as well as they can.”
Nick Hartshorne Evans, Founder and CEO, The Pumping Marvellous Foundation
